Agreed 100%. Killer, killer tune and always packed the dance floor with this one.

Here's one of my brushes with fame: during my brief LA stint, I played in a cool band doing all originals. The singer of that band was good friends with Jon E. Love. John helped us arrange an afternoon 'showcase' set with a few guys from one of the subsidiary labels. When we got to the rehearsal space and I started to lug my 4x12, John said 'no worries - use my 4x12 - its already in there - just bring your head and guitar.' I recall it was an older straight front Marshall with either GBs or V-30s - don't remember which. Super cool guy - very exciting afternoon - obviously didn't get signed, but what the hell!

Lots of great songs on those first two records. Tumbleweed being probably my personal favourite. Though "Hell, Ca. Pop 4" is a great one too.

I may get hell for this but I always preferred this band to GNR any day of the week for raunchy straight up rock!

Saw the Warren version of Ratt here back in 2002...singer from Love/Hate sounded better than Pearcy.
Lol

Really cool debut album . Saw them opened for AC/DC in 1990 and they bombed

I saw them at SPAC here in NY back in the day, and Axle sounded like a dying cat.

doesn't discount the summer that album came out, it was on every radio station, and every girl wanted to hear it.

edit: oh sh%t, I'm sorry man, were you referencing the OP? Dang, lol, sorry if so.

No worries man and on the subject of GNR when I saw them in September 1987 they were full throttle 50 mins of four on the floor rock ‘n’ roll . The best opening set and one of the best sets in general that I’ve ever seen over the last 45 years. Obviously it was before they were stars so there was none of that drama onstage that they would become famous for.

I wish I got to see them at their peak. He sounded pretty bad at that point. The summer when that album hit though, everyone was into it, and it was a smorgasbord of relations with the opposite sex that summer. I bet if there was a graph of birth rate, that year would stand out.

I remember it well
