Just not happy with the performance of my Carbon Copy delay and Nanoverb in fx loop of this amp.
(don't use stock reverb)
I know about the level of this loop for pedals and have read about the amp having the pad switch inside and other stories of CC delay sounding muffled or dark thru the loop. While I DON'T have any clipping ,distortion, muffling of these units, ONLY they are real sensitive to the levels I set them at, they just don't seem as subtle like delay and verb should be.
Question...would running a lower gain tube (5751) in V5 help tame the loop or would it not be advisable?
I feel if I flick the inner pad switch to low, I might encounter these other complaints like the throwing blankets over the amp, no highs and such.
