Hey everyone

Im sure you've all seen the fantastic video with Luke & Rheinhold at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouPa5swr610

Here are the settings from the amp that I could transcribe (Right to left):

Gain 3 = 5 o'clock, Gain 2 = 5 o'clock, Bass = 10 o'clock, Mid = 10 o'clock, Treble = 9:30 o'clock, Volume 3 = 8:30 o'clock, Volume 2 = 8:30 o'clock, Gain 1 = 12 oclock, Bass = 2 o'clock, Mid = 9:30 o'clock, Treble = 9 o'clock, Volume 1 = 8:30 o'clock, Pres B = 11 o'clock, Pres A = 11 o'clock
SWITCHES - Pre EQ CH2 - B2, Pre EQ CH3 - N, Gain boost Ch 2 & 3 - H, Structure - H, Plexi Mode - 0, Pre EQ CH1 - B1, Gain Boost Ch1 - H, Pres B Select - 0, Excursion B - L, Excursion A - T

So, dial it up & play it out. What do you think about these settings on YOUR amp? Obviously Luke sounds amazing, but Im keen to hear what everyone thinks when they dial these settings in??

Tried it on a 20th A xtc... Channel 1 didn't really work well at all for me, 2 was actually a good lead tone, but a bit too undefined for rhythm. 3 was just way WAY too much gain.

Probably a bit of an apples / oranges comparison though, different guitar, amp, etc. In any case, I'm surprised at how low the volume is... that's not even waking the speakers up :)

Thats what I was thinking - but Ive verified this by looking at Luke's playing on some Toto/solo vids, & they all appear to be very low in volume. Perhaps comes from Luke's use of CAA 3+ preamp = all preamp gain & no power amp gain??
