Here's an odd problem... When I turn on my Boss SE-70 effects processor my M4's sound loses it's edge and kind of sags (in a bad way) like there's not enough power. When I power off the processor the M4 bounces back to full glory. I thought it might be a problem with the Boss but when I recently tried out a different processor (new processor on, Boss off) I got the same problem. I'm running everything through a Furman PL-PLUS with voltage & current meters. The current without any processors is 2.3 to 2.4 and with one processor it's 2.5 to 2.6.
Has anyone ever heard of this problem? Am I pulling too much power through the Furman, i.e. it's not rated high enough? I'm going to try powering the M4 from another outlet and see what happens. Any other suggestions?
Thanks
