I'm trying to figure out how to set the switches on the back of my M4. There is a little red switch box on the back with 8 switches. I have no idea how to set these. I currently have my M4 getting power from my MOD50 and going through a GCX on Loop 8. The MOD50 is on Loop 7. I have pedals on loops 1-4 and they are all daisy chained together. I checked out the Randall forum but didn't understand what it was saying in the sticky. Any ideas?

Running into a problem. My GCX isn't showing my M4 and maybe not my MOD50. I turned on my GCP and the first MIDI spot allows me to change the name and what not, but the rest have a -- which means there is nothing there. So, I don't know if it's not seeing the M4 only or if it's not seeing the MOD50 either. Any suggestions?

Also, on the GCX none of the lights are on. I would think when you power up the Active light would be on and the Loop it automatically selects, but neither are on. Is this normal?

What a PITA!

Yeah, I read the manuals. That's why I'm asking. I did the thing in the manual where you go to Expanders, set GCX-1 to ON, and set loops 1-8 to normal and then cycle power. It says in the manual the active light should stay on after this, but it doesn't and I can't figure out why.
