My VX module is the lowest-output of the four (the others are a D/D, SL2X, and COD).
To keep a standard point of reference I keep the volume of the VX A channel maxed and reference everything else to it.
This results in my having to keep the M4 master volume dialed back to about 10:00 (maybe 3.5 - 4 out of 10 if there were a scale on it) lest I overdrive the Eventide FX pedals I have in the loop between the M4 and the power amp.
Sound about right? Would it be better to drop the volume of the VX A channel - does maxing a channel volume cause any sonic issues that you guys are aware of?
