M4 Preamp - is it being reissued

Hi,

Can anyone advise me wether the M4 preamp and modules is being revised, updated/revamped for 2012? Any news about this?
 
I believe Egnater is still in the process of weighing their options with respect to production (i.e., overseas in China vs. outsourced within the U.S.). There is no imminent re-release of the modular line.

If you are anxious to get an M4, keep your eyes on the Rig-Talk and MTS Forum Classifieds, as they come up now and then used. I believe Bruce can still hand build you a few modules as a special order as well.
 
Thanks for the reply and heads up.... I'll keep a look out for a used M4.

Actually, Bruce has said directly that they are now, and plan to continue producing modules for forever. Just FWIW. :thumbsup:

That is exactly what I need to hear! I 'want' one of these preamps real bad!
 
Call Frank at the Amp Lounge to get an update on the M4 production. Last I heard, they were supposed to begin around September.
