M4 w/ Boss DD-20 Question

I've been using my DD-20 between the M4 and RT2/50 in output mode 1: Stereo w/ -20db. Should I use +4db instead? The boss site says guitar/bass -20db and amp send/return @ +4db. Does being between a preamp and poweramp equate to an amp's send/return?

I would think that it does. Experiment and see what it sounds like!

Well, I tried switching from -20db to +4db and I really can't hear any difference at all. Shouldn't it be a "day and night" kind of difference?

I've left it on +4db for now. I go right out from both M4 outputs to the two inputs on the DD-20 and then both outs of the DD-20 to the RT2-50. I think I have to try using just one output of the M4 to input a (mono) on the delay. I believe I read in the manual that you should only use one input on the delay for a mono source.
