I heard they are put together with duct tape in china.
I think there were pics!

I used to own a Divinity. Never opened it up to check for duct tape though.

They actually sound pretty good IMO, it's just the build quality that isn't very good. They come biased way too hot as well, or at least they used to. No idea if they still do. The clean channel is pretty good, reverb is decent. First gain channel sounds kinda like a 5150 or Hot Rodded Marshall, something kinda like that. Second gain channel sounds more like a Recto. I never used that channel, didn't like how it sounded at all.

Madison is still in business, wow

And doing very well!

IMO they're wonderful amps. When I can afford to own more than one amp I will get another! I really miss that amp!

I'd imagine they go for next to nothing on Ebay now? I paid $825 for mine right before the fiasco. I got lucky and traded it straight up for a 5150 II.

They very rarely show up on ebay anymore. I've been looking for a cheap one! Most of the time all that's on there are brand new ones for $900 or so.

No shit? That sucks. :(

Probably because not a lot of people own them. I never see anybody talk about them anymore.

Neither do I. I actually thought they went out of business or something.

I remember right before PRMike got banned from HC for a second time, he was talking about all these new Madison amps that were supposed to be coming out. Turns out he was full of shit. Who would have ever guessed?

They DID change the Divinity to a 2 channel 6L6 amp as opposed to a 3 channel EL34 amp. They also came out with the Omen but it didn't last long for some reason. They also reworked their cabs and started loading them with Celestions.

HAHAHA yeah right, maybe they can hire someone to answer the fucking phone. I have techs calling me because Madison doesn't answer the phone or return phone calls to help the techs fix the amps that are crapping out.
