I swapped the a5 in my Aldrich bridge pickup with a rough a2. I accidentally flipped the magnet. Does that affect the tone at all BESIDES when you’re in the middle position? I kinda like the out of phase sound but if it’s causing it to sound different when I’m on the bridge alone I’ll flip it back

It just means the pickup will be out of phase with the neck pickup without physically rotating the bridge pickup. Technically there will be a sound difference because the poles of the pickup are moved away from the bridge when you physically rotate the pickup to be out of phase. Having the poles closer to the bridge but still out of phase will change the sound a bit.

Personally I’d just fix it as you expect poles close to bridge to be in phase and properly installed but would sound out of phase which could confuse anyone trying to rewire it in the future.
