Tough crowdCurious why you guys are saying no? That's far closer to the tone I'd expect in a IIC+ demo than the crap we've listened to so far by the "pros".
Nope…. sounds better than the official video. Not buying it so don’t really care. Just want to annoy youYou couldn't tack this shitty vid on the Mesa 2c+ thread?
Yep.we all have to play the thing to decide. there is a major "FEEL" element to the c+ that these demos are never going to capture.
So I never played a mark IIC+ the closets I came was my DRG red stripe a black stripe and a mark iv. What is the bouncer feel people talk about. Does it work in a metal context.Yep.
If, by some miracle they actually get that 'bouncy' feel right, I'll be tempted to buy one. It is unique among amplifiers.
100% agree!! And I would even argue, that while all the older Marks I have played (my mkiv, mkiii's) all have sole semblance of that and feel good to play....playing a real deal 2C+ is different. So it is even kind of unique among the Mark series.Well, it's a 'feel' thing when you fret the strings, how the amp makes it seem like your fingers 'attach' themselves to the string, like they're alive...haha it's hard to really put to words but there's also a 'bounce' to it.
You can play any style with the C+...just depends on what kind of tone you're looking for. Marshall? Or not? Marks have their own thing going on. I've had a lot of great amps that have great feel....67 Marshall, 72 Marshall, 2 Naylors, Mark 2Bs/IIIs, Wizards and although those have great feel none get that unique C+ thing.
Saw this one earlier on FB. I guess it at least shows it can get enough gain, but I'm really curious what phone he's recording with, cause I can put mine a few feet off from the cab and it records surprisingly well. This sounds like something that would come out of an original iPhone. It's not terrible, but it's also not good.Curious why you guys are saying no? That's far closer to the tone I'd expect in a IIC+ demo than the crap we've listened to so far by the "pros".
