Mark Day is now working for Fractal....moved to east coast.

Announcement on Fractal forum says he is now a full time employee. His position is "artist in residence"

His Friedman/Tone Merchant/ Los Angeles days are behind him it seems.

His You Tube vids helped to sell tons of Axe Fx units so I guess this makes sense.

Seems like he had the perfect situation for himself with Dave & Tone Merchants, but hopefully the Fractal gig gives him more $ & exciting opportunities :thumbsup:

Mark was super helpful when I purchased my BE 100 from Tone Merchants. I wish him all the best!

Interesting... I wondered why he hadn't posted in a while. I hope it works out. He seems like a cool dude and his videos are always enjoyable.

Pretty cool. My Wife and I were at a Rush concert in the bar/club section a good while prior to the show. We met two guys from Fractal and had a couple of drinks with them. They had Fractal T-shirts on so I made a commebt which sparked our talks.They were waiting for a call to go backstage and work on Alex's rig. They got the call and were then escorted through the locked gate. Hope he gets some cool gigs like that. :rock:
 
I like it, Hopefully we see more videos from him. really miss that!
 
Nice!! Actually when I first got into Youtube....It was Mark that I followed. He made EVERY RIG he played thru sound so bad ass! :rock:

He actually moved back to Canada so he could be with his woman. That's very cool that he's working for Fractal.

I know the guys on the Fractal Forums are always clamoring over his Axe FX patches.
 
I've kept in touch with Mark since he's left the So Cal area. He's in Canada for a short visit, then moving to New Hampshire to work for Fractal.

Mark posted a bunch on FB about him leaving Cali and his trip through the states, but I may have missed a post about his new job. He's definitely earned a spot at Fractal. Wish him the best of luck
 
I sleep with an autographed 8x10 glossy of Mark Day under my pillow at night...
 
Too cool....I'm not far away from Fractal. My nephew visited them when he bought his AxeFX, and also ran into the owner at a NIN concert. I love Mark's videos, and he seems like a cool dude.
