Do I need another amp? No...

My all-time favorite amp was a Mark III no dot Coliseum from back in my mid 80's heyday.

It was a killer amp, but just too loud for most purposes today. The MV on those are quite touchy too. A few years ago I had a Green stripe non-simul that I loved and stupidly sold. I've owned other MKIII's such as a Red stripe and Blue stripe, both were simul-class. I liked them, but I didn't love them.

Anyway, this long-head non-simul MKIII greenie head came on the market at a decent price and I decided to get it. I suppose this will be my last amp purchase for the foreseeable future and I may end up selling one or two in my current stable. My Fractal FM9T has really has cured most of my gas....

like coming home, there’s just something nostalgic about having a III in the stable for guys that lived through the early mark evolution that makes life better🥳

i’ve really been liking the addition of a BE-OD Deluxe to hit R2 with and the DD-500 in the loop.

Non-simul Green stripe? I didn’t know those existed. I thought the Greens were all simul-class 🤔

Did Black Sheep play the Country Club in Reseda?

They did, but not with me. When I was in the band we played Gazzari's, Rainbow, Whisky, Troubadour, FM station, Jezebel's, Musicians Institute, and a few others I can't recall at the moment. We were playing out almost every weekend... Good times!
