I'm looking for those crazy pics of Mark IV settings (searching is getting me nowhere). I finally fixed/put new pickups in my guitar, Seymour Duncan Custom and 59', and I get to play it for the first time since the HOM   . (I'm also gonna start recording like a mad man thanks to Ralphie's help!) I'm looking for some high-gain settings for metal/thrash, if anyone's got settings similar to Zorran's than I'd love to try them out!

Thanks,
V-ltures

Good starting point but due to different pre amp tubes and mine being a new B version as the volume went up it got real bright. The 6600 slider is a hair below the center line on mine and also some knobs adjustments.

Great starting point to begin

Those settings worked out good for me, I just needed to add a little more here and there to get that high gain out of it. I've noticed the R1 seems to mostly be a clean channel, and the R2 being a crunch, but I could I have sworn reading posts where the R2 was the best channel?

Most of us R2 is the one channel that needs improving, you must have a different amp in mind :D

Yeah R1 is the cleans and pretty darn good. Make sure you are pulling the gain and Lead Drive pots.

My old settings... for what it's worth...

Those are real close to mine now, due to the H30s a tad less bass but when I use the GB cab about the same.

Yeah when the volume goes up it is real bright, I agree. Even at lower volumes I tend to keep the presence on 0 and sometimes even lower the 6600 slider below the neutral line to tame it

That GEQ is very similar to mine, but I use a little less 80 and the presence pulled on 2.
