Got this amp in last week and it just sounds INCREDIBLE!
I took a small video with a little Digital camera and the audio came out thin....
but what the hell. Just some noodling.
Amp sounds 1000 times better in person.
Had the cabs at a little above TV listening volume.
Not sure if that was good for recording or not?

Anyhow......here it is:

Here is a second video.
recorded with a video cam.
Came out a little better.
Sorta 'warbly' in spots.
Love to hear this amp recorded thru a Q3.

Anyhow......here it is:

The hedge trimmers were used to neuter the amp prior to recording so it wouldn't piss on the carpet or give your wife the mean furry nasty while you were away at work, yes?

Just got done moving the cabs back from the drums and didnt straighten up.
That amp is just BRUTAL in person.
Tone/playing on my videos always sucks!
You need to get the Mark amp!
They rule! ;)

Very cool ..... :)

You have your bass knobs set very high for a Mark amp. The bass is all flub if I run mine like that.

Whats going on with all the pitch bending ?

I have the Presence cranked on it though.
You mean on the EQ as well?

We spent quite a bit of time dialing it in on Saturday.
It sounds SO KILLER in person. The video sounds ok but cant capture how punishing this amp is. Love it!!

No just the knobs ..... I never go over 3. 0~3 is pretty much how everyone uses it. I do not know of anyone that goes higher because of how it effects the sound.
I can tell it sounds heavy.

Well it was my first real weekend with it.
I know that its going to take some time for me to tweak EXACTLY where I need it to be.
But so far......its PUNISHING!

Mailman cool vid now I wish I still had a Boogie. I think I'm just a boogie guy when it comes to heavier grind. They feel right to me.

Thanks man!
I went thru a ton of amps.
Engl, Diezel, Elmwood, Framus, Etc....I can go on and on....
the Mark III was my favorite of them all..........

Until I got this Mark IV! :D
Just suits what I play perfect. Great "GRIND" as you put it.
No other amp is like these.

I think we recorded it too loud. It was clipping and the tape sounds 'warbled' in spots.
going to try to make a CLEAR recording with the recomendations I got from you.

Lets see, its currently the end of August; the first of May is 8 months away. Given the trends of amp purchases and subsequent trades, that puts you at about 14.2 amp changes before the springtime comes, that is of course if we incorporate a 95% confidence interval to the model.
