Finally got some time to demo track a tune with the Torpedo Live: This Hate of Mine (Demo)

EDIT: June 04, 2013 - Added another tune:
Vacation (Son's 2nd birthday) week and I found some time to demo another track. Mk V using Mk IV and Extreme modes with CanAbyss 1x12 and SM57. Clean guitar has a couple tracks of Mk V's clean channel, however, one will mostly hear the POD HD500 and JTV acoustic guitar and sitar: Break Again (Demo)

EDIT: June 16, 2013 - Added another tune:
This is very much a demo. I finally had a chance to sit down and get the drums closer, which really shed light on the tempo of some other stuff, but I figured I'd throw it on here anyway. One guitar's tracks (first heard) are the 11R's Bogner Ecstasy Red amp into the Mark V loop, with Torpedo Live Brit VinC and Eddie cabs The second guitar is the Mark V Extreme mode with Brit VinC and Calif StdC cabs. Dust (Demo)

EDIT: June 20, 2013 - In attempting to work my way through tons of material and do some actual tracking and recording, my Soundcloud tracks will likely change often. Therefore, I've updated the previous links to the main page and refer to the referenced track with the link text. Hope this doesn't create too much confusion.

Welcome to the torpedo club!
the clip sounds amazing!!!
Care to share your Live settings?
Did you use the soak or just the Mark V pre-amp?

I did use the TL load box feature and was running 45w. There's three guitar parts and I tracked them with the JP6 on Mark I and the Epi Bona on Mark IV using the Can Abyss cab, 57 for Mk I and 87 for Mk IV. Poweramp OFF, distance 2%, Center 0%, Front, EQ OFF, Level 0db, S/PDIF. I run Mk I mode with no channel bass and the preset EQ straight up. Super simple and dynamic. Love it!

BTW...I purposely left the guitar tracks un-EQ'd in the mix. They're simply balanced across the stereo spectrum then bussed to a stereo track with a little bit of Little Radiator and Reverb One.

Sounds incredible, how do you record bass and drums?

I just listened to it opn my macbook speakers, and all I can say already is : wow!

The drums are Superior Drummer and the bass is Xpand2 into Amplitube Ampeg SVX. Drums are built in grooves with some notes added and the bass is played on an Axiom Pro 49 keyboard. I'm still learning how to do all this stuff and make it sound real. Challenging to say the least. If only I could find real players... :aww: I'm seriously considering buying a bass guitar.

Beautiful work! At first I listened without the rest of the music and thought....ok...not bad.

But then....with all of the instruments, it's like WOW!
Goes to show how things fit into a mix....not the other way around.

Love it!

Cool! ...and thanks.

Spot on. This has been a topic I've seen on numerous guitar/guitar product forums and is extremely important.

Added another demo tune. Same cab and 57 with different Mk V modes (IV and Extreme).

Is it me or do I ear a strong Metallica influence in this last one? Good song actually!

I'll take that. Definitely a big 'tallica fan, here.

Awesome! Now I would like to dial in my MK V using a variety of LesPauls and the TNTL

Added a third track to the OP. Eleven Rack Bogner Red into Mark V loop and Mark V with several TL cabs, 57 & 160 mics.
