Marsha Bias questions...is this right?

Hey all,

Thought I'd ask here before bugging Dave. I'm a biasing noob so this could be user error.

1. I just put new tubes in and tried to bias...rotating the bias pot only changes the bias about 2ma. Shouldn't there be more adjustment?

2. When biasing, the two inner tubes were 35 and 38ma...both outers show 19 and 20. Do the outers show half the value or is this something wrong?

Sounds like you don't have a matched set. What are you using to bias with?

Thanks Dave...using a single bias probe into a multimeter.

Tubes are Rubys and I bought a matched quad (supposedly).

Would that explain the small range of adjustment on the bias pot?
