I’ve actually had this amp for a few years now and never bothered to look inside. Just too F’n lazy and the amp sounds pretty good. The replacement iron had me thinking about checking it out after I got it but felt like staying in an ignorance is bliss state of mind. I’ve built a metro 100 watt kit before (2007/8) but the not much tinkering fire is left in me these days. Decent amount of original signal caps but some really dodgy soldering in several places..lol. Not sure what’s going on with the cap going to ground which looks to be a V2a bypass cap maybe. I’m not sure how it’s meant to be configured for lead and bass but the only bright cap is on Vol2, but it’s not original. Both channels sound about the same really. Looks like it has an internalized HT fuse but can’t tell if it’s factory.
Figured I let the folks a lot more tech savvy check it out.
