The SL-X is highly underrated - This is a really great sounding Marshall!

Curious as to what issue you had with your 2100 SL-X effects loop?
I have read there being issues with dirty jacks & level pot, but that's not the case with mine.
I've been using a Strymon DIG in the loop and it works flawlessly.
In fact it's a good a loop as any amp I've owned.

Sorry bros not trying to create any drama, rest assured this amp is a killer (SLX is my main amp) I just know how napalm really likes his loops. It's not a bad loop at all, just not a top level one. For anyone that doesn't give a shit about loops (me) this amp will slay and will hang with any channel switching 800 and otherwise...like I said my main amp is a 2500!!
Any black tolex(88,89) Jubilee I've owned, as well as 88 2205s have all had PERFECT FX loops. I think up till '87 the loops were a bit of a tone suck...but right after and beyond they work great.
These are killer amps and if I had the cash it'd be gonzo.

For $1399 shipped this is a no brainer steal. Look at what the JCM800/900 reissues cost. These sound better IMO. And let me tell you, these things can hang with any Marshall out there if you want to rock out.
