Marshall SV20H mods? Psycho Dave?

I have a stock SV20H (plexi) I was thinking of having modded or possibly modding myself. Sam Timberlake (Samamp) is semi local to me so that is an option. Definitely want a master volume added and more gain. A saturation switch would be nice as well. Nothing too fancy. First thoughts were Jose type mod but I keep remembering how good PsychoSave's modded Jet City 20 sounds in all the clips he has done. If it could sound like that I would be happy. The Marshall has EL34s conpared to the Jet City's EL84s so maybe the Marshall would sound that good and bigger with similar mods.
Suggestions?

If you are sending your amp to Friedman, you are probably going to wait over a year if not years..I think he mentioned that recently in one of the tonetalks. Too much back log.

I also think depending on the mod, Friedman might take the bite and bark out of that amp. Nowadays you can easily find layouts or buy mods from builders that will go in without too much trouble. I'd go that route..... OR.. eq pedal , SD-1 , Cusak Screamer / hot rod TS variant.

Shouldn't be hard to mod. I believe Head First has a few videos on YT modding this amp.
Yeah, those Headfirst mods and clips posted were the shit. I'd love to have a modded SV20H. I had one unmodded, and it was ridiculously loud, and a flabby mess. It didn't get along with a Power Station either. Hated it.

Monomyth worked with Headfirst doing mods to these, and the SC20H. He might be an option as well.
I tried every trick in the book, as far as pedals, attenuators, etc., to no avail when I had mine. Mods are the way to go. No pedals, or combination of pedals would get rid of the woofy, flabby character it has out of the box. Plus, the volume goes from zero to no way, real quick.

I think the intended use of these is to crank them in a studio without murdering everyone in it..
My Tweaker 15 sounds like dogshit except when setup for a clean tone which is really nice.
But when you wind it up and get everything to clip and saturate, you have instant classic tones.
An Attenuator would help..

I have this sv20h. Great amp. But now i’m thinking of modding it thanks to Rigtalk 🤣

Doea the Power Station get the tones at reasonable volume?
It is great overall yes but it still isnt like an unattenuated cranked amp. As good as fryette is (and it is the best i have tried) it still isnt quite the same in feel and tone.
