Master Effects At It Again!

I bought their EQFH pedal a while back which is just like this one minus the mini two toggle switches on the front. I run mine in the loop of my amps and it works great.

It is a phenomenal EQ. The Q controls have incredibly wide ranges so it’s easy to make very broad changes across the entire spectrum, and it also gets super narrow for notching problem frequencies as well. It's also got a ton of headroom so it has no problem handling loop volume levels. Oh and I was able to email the owner back and forth and talk directly with him a couple times too.

Can’t recommend this company’s parametric EQ’s enough.

These look fantastic. In addition to sculpting in the loop, I'm tempted to try one of these up front to see if it would be the end all boost pedal. Imagine having a 4 up front and a 4 in the loop...what else would you really need?
 
To be honest I haven't seen many negative reviews on the Empress pedal yet. Most seem to be pretty positive from what i've seen but I may not have looked around as much as you OP.

Finally a reliable company making these things! I guess it was a matter of time after making the puppet master eq and eq from hell. Looks like they are making both the PQ3 and 4. I put in an order for the 4 so hopefully this thing will replace my Empress like everyone says that sucks :dunno:

Who the fuck says the empress sucks? I’ve never ever heard this. It’s by far the best eq I own for guitar amps in the loop, not even close.

Bruh really? How quickly you forget. You were even in on the last thread defending it where people were talking shit on the Empress.

I like mine quite a bit and even want to try the new MKII but even others on TGP say similar shit about the Empress.
