Hi,

If I would buy a spare set of 4 power tubes for an Einstein 100 Watt
head, should I buy one matched quad or 2 matched pairs?

1 matched quad if possible.

Any suggestion where I should buy these?
I live in Belgium ... Europe ...

Thanks ... but I prefer a retailer in Europe ... much easier to work with and I would think that their prices can be lower since many tubes come from Europe ...

Matched pairs will do as you can set the bias for each pair individually. You can even mix two pairs of different types, i.e. EL34 and 6L6. For best price check tube-town.de, other stores I know are tubeampdocter.com and watfordvalves.com.
