Maximizing wind from subs

I can think of a few factors to consider:

You don't want wave cancellation due to wraparound frequencies from a port.
You want the maximum-diameter cone you can get your hands on.
A soffet / baffle might choke the pushing of air somewhat.

Tricky, 'cause a surround is necessary to avoid that wraparound I spoke of, and yet a free-standing speaker's gonna throw air further and in greater volumes.

That's all I can think of right now mate. HTH and welcome to the forum.

My little 6" Boston Acoustics sub pushes out a lot of wind for something so small; it has a front facing cone-shaped port right above the speaker that extends far in to the casing

Also the entire casing and cone is made of plastic

That's all I got lol

Lower frequency may equate to less cone movement and less wind.

One of the lowest known musical frequencies is 8 Hz which is generated from a 64' pipe in a pipe organ.

This guy is breaking some wind from his subwoofer:

Yup, and around 7Hz is associated with earthquakes and can make peeps feel very-uncomfortable and either shit their pants or feel compelled to seek open spaces.

It's been a known "psychoacoustic" phenomenon for many decades.

If I could figure out how to drive a turbine by the wind generated from my subterranean region, the energy crisis would be over.

This primate is wise.
