I love that kinda binding. Beautiful guitar, mang.

I wonder why I don't care for relic'd guitars, but love the battle scarred pickups on a nice guitar...

I was just thinking that exact thing when I saw this. The relic'd pickups really add to this.

I don't think I'll ever have one of these because they're so expensive but in your honest opinion, are they worth the insane price tag?

gorgeous guitar

Whats odd is how allot of these are listed at 4-5K. You can buy a brand new one for around a little more than 3K

I did not really relic the pickups, the finish started to flake everytime it was hit by a pick, it was a flaw by bare knuckle, they asked me to return it and replace a new cover but i didn't bother. Somehow it complements the look of the guitar.

This was just a Regius Gothic standard specs except for the custom all black body and no battery cavity. I also upgraded the pickups to BKP Aftermath and change it to metal knobs.

It is really expensive I got it in payments for almost a year until the guitar was finished but its worth the price. Its in the same level of some high end PRS.

How do the Aftermaths sound with the low end of the Regius? Are they dry sounding at all?

It has more attack than the stock SD. I still like the old SD though but I sold it.
