Last night I had a cool corporate event at the Peabody hotel (sadly private) otherwise I would have invited those close to Memphis (@Nigel). The venue was fucking cool ~180 people. Worst part…. Bringing equipment up to the mezzanine level in a 100 year old building. Good show. Great sound.

Our first song as sound check below. The event finished and we started the set with “Surrender” as folks walked in. I think we had a good reception from the guests.

Glad you enjoyed it. Hope it paid well. I'm way to lowbrow to ever wear a tux to a gig, for any price. I didn't even wear a suit when I got married.

It was for my UTMem Dept of Surgery event so I had to go by the rules since I helped make them 🫤. I wore my same tuxedo that I used 23 years ago when I graduated from residency. No alterations either, just grayer hair and a saggier sack. 🥜

The balls drop lower as the guitar hangs higher

Looked good and sounded great !!!
Hope that you had a good time, too. (y)
Place was very cool. For those who have been to the older hotels know. Nothing new for me because I’ve been there plenty but I was excited for my band. 3 of the members would never go there on their own so I’m happy I could make that memory possible for them. The surgical society paid for their rooms and fed them. Then they got paid. Personally I don’t want want anything as I get satisfaction alone from my band but I cannot say the same for them. I love playing out and impressing myself. It was a calling from 30+ years ago that itch was never scratched. It was actually harder for me to learn singing and playing. RT brothers help me find the “tone”. Thank you. One day I’ll be there and then I’ll put it all away.
Oh. And Happy Father’s Day guys. It’s the only day you get to say FUCK that! This my day

Ha. That’s my bassist Betsy. He is a hammer. She is needed slap bass lessons. Nick @Techdeth needs to work on that with her. But her chops have become way more bass-ful since he started teaching.
She’s becoming Thors Hammerr !

Did someone say Thor’s hammer? I have two. I call my penis, and my pedal Thor’s hammer.

I like when she said she thought they were going out and she goes to his room and he’s in a bathrobe watching shark week. I laughed my ass off after hearing that…

Nice gig! And, I see you're rockin the Sykes!

Sounds good too.
