Mesa 2:90 vs. 2:100...

First off I had a 2:100 and freaking LOVED it, but have no experience with a 2:90...

My question is this... Is the 2:100s MODERN equivalent to the 2:90s MODERN and Deep engaged at the same time? Or would the 2:90s Deep + MODERN overpower the 2:100s straight up MODERN? Are the 2:90s and 2:100s MODERN relatively the same?

A little late but, the 2:100 sounds like a sledgehammer and the 2:90 has A LOT more finesse to its sounds. It's more musical. If brutal is your sound then, 2:100. If versatility and singing lead tones are where it's at for you then, 2:90

The 2:100 feels stiffer and tighter. The 2:90 has deeper bass and a bit of a chewy character. I have a 2:90 myself.

I bought it new but not from Levytukku. It arrived only 2 weeks ago. It's sickening how much Boogies cost in Finland and in whole Europe.
