Excellent condition "Long Head" Mesa Mark III++ DRGX w/ R2 Mod and Foot Doctor custom footswitch. This is a four channel amp, all footswitchable: clean, crunch, C+, and C++. You can also engage/disengage the Reverb and Graphic EQ using the footswtich. The export transformer allows you to run this at various voltages around the world with the twist of a knob. From crystal cleans to dirty blues to hard rock to ultimate modern metal: this amp can do it all!

Works perfectly with NO issues. Tubes have plenty of life in them. Last serviced by Mike B in 2018, given clean bill of health.

This is the best sounding Mark III I've ever played. Regretfully selling it.

$3000 Shipped CONUS

Why would you sell this ?
Very long story. In a nutshell: I sold my Deliverance to a guy on Reverb. It was damaged somehow in transit. The seller freaked and wanted a refund. I told him I don't accept returns but I had Safe Ship so he could get it fixed. He contacted Reverb to file a claim and apparently the rule on Reverb now is that he has a right to refuse having it fixed and instead receive a refund because the amp “didn’t arrive as described.” (Because it was broken.) So I have to refund him $2500 to get my broken amp back.

So now I have to sell my Mark III to cover it.

Fuck Reverb. Fuck em right in the ass.
If someone buys my super rare 335 I don't have to sell this amp :)

Sorry to hear about the damaged amp. But if I received an amp that was damaged, unless it was really really minor cosmetic wise, I would return it, no telling what else got f’d up. F Ups and Fedex. I wont ship anything except pedals now.

I totally understand. I'll say this: with Safe Ship he could have sent it back to Fryette for repair (which is what I am doing, plus I'm having them do some mods while it's there too) all on Reverb's dime, including shipping both ways. He would have literally got a basically new amp right from the factory with "known good" everything, which is far more than you get by buying most amps on Reverb.

These were the "cosmetic issues" that were "not disclosed" in my pictures. I listed this amp as "Excellent" condition which Reverb defines as:

When an item has been used, but only has minor cosmetic defects, this can be considered Excellent. Minor surface level scratches, such as pick marks from regular use, would qualify.

To me, these are minor surface level scratches. In the opinion of the Buyer and "Terry" at Reverb (apparently judge, jury, and executioner all rolled into one) this is not Excellent condition.

I'm just bitching because of the pain in the ass. I have no recourse. If a buyer bitches and complains enough, Reverb will take their side 99.9% of the time. Just the way it is. Y'all know me and that I'm a straight shooter and don't BS people on gear. You know I take excellent care of my stuff. But some buyers are crazy or get bad buyer's remorse or get bitched at by their wives and just want their money back. Reverb is happy to assist them.

Sounds to me like this clown bought the amp then realized after the fact he didn’t have money for it and is trying to get out of the deal. People are a pain in the ass, and reverbs policies suck.

You learned a valuable lesson.

Please heed my advice - don’t ever list anything in excellent condition on reverb. It attracts assholes and picky douches living in basements. I always list in fair or poor condition. If they can’t tell by the photos that it’s in great shape then it weeds out the idiots wasting your time. If they buy it and bitch then the ad calls it out clearly as fair or poor condition.

When they buy it the standards are so low that it makes it hard to fight shipping scuffs.

So if I am buying an amp from you, I immediately sledgehammer it without opening and we get some cool mods and refreshing for it on Reverb’s dime, right? 😁

Sad that such bullshit happened anywas. These postal services need to start charging fuckers who break stuff in transit.

Good idea. I don't know if I'll list as Fair or Poor, but I'll probably start listing more as G/VG.

In fairness, this is one time in four years that this has happened on Reverb (not shipping damage; someone refusing to get something fixed) so most buyers are totally fine. But if you get someone like this guy, then forget it. You cannot please some people.

Honestly, I'd rather it be lost than damaged. If it's lost, then Reverb just refunds the buyer and eats the money they paid me. No fuss, no muss. But when stuff is damaged, it's a huge headache.

Mods, sorry if this is against the rules to keep posting so much about something unrelated to the sale of the item, so feel free to slap my wrist if you want.

However, I had a guy message me on another forum about this Mark III++. He was nice and not disrespectful or anything so I don't want people to rag on him or think he was being a dick, BUT this is what he wrote to me in his offer and with everything that's happened with this Deliverance, it just made me go... NOPE.

I do have one specific request, and that is you must personally oversee the packing, and make sure in particular that the GEQ sliders and all knobs and switches are SUPER WELL protected (i.e. nothing can touch them in the box, even when dropped), as a repair would be either impossible due to lack of original parts or very slow and expensive at best. I likely would return it to you in that situation for a full refund.
I have seen many "professionally" packed items that were obviously packed by people with no understanding of how much packages get dropped and thrown around while in transit. Cannot have that risk on this rare item. Proper packing will make sure there are no accidents. I can provide my suggestions if you feel that would be helpful.
