For Sale: 1995 Mesa Boogie Mark III Green Stripe 85W DRG head. D = Dual Class aka Simul-Class, R = Reverb, G = Graphic Equalizer built-in. The amp is in excellent ++ condition. You won't find a 1995 MK III Green Stripe in better condition. It is in museum collector's condition. Everything functions 100% and it sounds amazing. Serial number is 281XX and it was built in September 1995 as dated on the chassis (see pic). It was serviced at the Mesa Boogie factory in May 2018 by Mike Bendinelli himself. I have the receipt from the Mesa factory detailing the work as well the correspondence from Mike B. detailing his work. I will include a copy of the factory service receipt with the amp for the new owner. Mike B. also initialed and dated the back panel of the amp (see pic). All filter caps, all electrolytic caps, and the AC power cord were replaced. All pots cleans, jacks checked, all graphics eq sliders cleaned, all functions checked, and play tested. The R2 volume mod was performed by converting the DI Out pot to a volume control pot for the 2nd rhythm crunch channel. The amp has a new set of power tubes consisting of 2 Mesa EL34 STR 447s in the 2 outer sockets, and 2 6L6GC STR 430s in the 2 inner sockets. The Green Stripe Mk III amps run at 85W with all power tubes wired in full pentode power, which yields an extra 10W over the previous versions. The tolex is also in excellent ++ condition for a 26 year old amp. There are only 2 tiny pencil tip sized tolex nicks on the side panel near the bottom edge (see pic). Both the Output and Power Transformers are spotless and rust free, unlike the majority of these amps with severely rusted transformers. The original head cover is included. You are basically looking at a new amp, ready to rock for the next 30 years.
