1994 Mesa Triple Rectifier Rev G transitional model with some Rev F specs, such as the serial fx loop and switching circuit. To be clear, the main board is labeled Rev G. But as seen in the pics, this is a transitional model with several Rev F features. It also was built in a chrome chassis, which is very rare to see for a Rev G amp.
I had this amp sent to the Mesa factory in late 2018 for a complete service by Mike B. himself, which included: new filter caps, new electrolytic caps throughout, new power cord, removed previous bias pot modification, new power tube screen resistors, replaced any bad pots, and cleaned all jacks. There is a hole that was drilled in the chassis, for the bias pot behind the power tubes, that has been plugged.
While at Mesa I also had Mike B. modify the lead channel to Rev C specs, which makes the amp much tighter, a bit brighter, and more cutting. So there was a lot of work done to this amp and it is now basically like new inside and works just like it did when it was new. Also a new sextet of Mesa 6L6GC power tubes has been installed along with a new set of preamp tubes.
There are some nicks, rips, and tears in the tolex. And a few marks on the chrome chassis. Nothing major and the amps looks great for being 26 years old.

These are cool amps in general. There was a run in ‘94 where the leftover chrome chassis were getting used up in the transition of F to G and shipped with factory serial loops, despite the transition already happening to parallel several hundred units earlier. I used to have a few like this, still have a ‘94 Dual in this configuration.
I have this same amp. Just sent my chrome chassis G Triple to Mesa for a full servicing and the Rev C mod, and it’s a killing machine. The mod was a big improvement. Made the amp more aggressive in the mids and much tighter and focused in the lows. It hits like a jackhammer. Also made it brighter, but nothing that’s not easily managed turning knobs. Monster of an amp here. GLWS

Thanks for the kind words guys. A definite monster amp. If I didn’t have a few other Triples... I’d be keeping this one. Monster amp.
