I finally snagged a gnarly Recto and put it up against my Mark IV B!

Dialed them in kinda close and tried to trick everyone :)

Which is which?

 
That's a great comparison. I like how you bounce back and forth fairly quickly. I know that is not easy to pull off on a video but it makes the comparison so much better. You already know my answer so I won't say anything.

No one really comes in here much so I would just post a thread in the main Rig Talk section where everyone is. There has been a lot of Mark vs Recto discussion lately and I think this is really good content. Make sure you have thick skin in there the Mark guys in particular can get a little protective :lol:

Well, I do both mic'd audio as well as cell phone audio in this video, so everyone will be happy :). You can even flip back and forth between the two at will to see the comparison. I've found ways to get some decent tones from phone audio, so I won't say it's terrible, but they can be terrible pretty easily.
