For Sale: 1998 Mesa Boogie Mark IV Version B short head. The amp is in excellent ++ to near mint condition. 9.5/10. The only flaws I can see on it are 2-3 small pencil tip sized nicks/dings in the tolex of the head shell. That's it. Otherwise, is DEAD-MINT, 100% flawless. Serial #: IV-0096XX. The amp is totally 100% stock without any modifications. Zero issues functionally and it sounds amazing. It was just fully serviced at the Mesa Boogie factory last month in July and the receipt of the work performed at Mesa Boogie will be included with the amp. The amp was exceptionally clean to begin with, so there was little to do it at Mesa. All filter capacitors (2 X 220uf/300V) were replaced in addition to the preamp filter caps (3 X 30uf/500V) in addition to some of the other smaller caps on the board. Also all jacks, switches, equalizer sliders, pots, preamp & power tube sockets were cleaned and tested. The amp has zero issues. It basically looks like a museum, time machine piece. There is zero rust on the transformers. The amp also has a brand-new set of Tung Sol 6L6GC power tubes and 12AX7 preamp tubes installed, all tubes were tested at Mesa as well. Included with the amp is: the power chord, original footswitch, footswitch cable, cover, and original paper topper instruction card. This is as nice and ready to go of a MKIV amp you'll find anywhere. It literally needs nothing. No tubes needed; no work needed. Plug and play.
Price: $1200.00 shipped via UPS Ground to anywhere in the lower 48 states of the USA. Shipping to AK/HI/PR will cost extra. The amp will only be shipped to your confirmed/verified PayPal shipping address with signature delivery confirmation. I will not ship to a third party. I will not ship outside of the USA.
Trades: The only (and I mean only) trades I'm interested in are: Mesa Mark IIC+ HRG/DRG head, Mesa Triple Rectifier Rev F or earlier revisions. All trades must be in equally clean excellent ++ or better condition.
