I believe it is called the Tweaker, Rebel 20 and/or Rebel 30, no?

I want the Mod 20 when they release the modular stuff out again ...20 watts ,1 module .W the new digi verb and the boost from the tweaker .so you can have like a Plexi .clean .Plexi super crunch and a boost for more gain or solos

I'm pretty sure I would be all over a smaller mod amp, just so I could keep one in the stuido, not having to lug the behemoth rack rig back and forth.

You think? I don't think so, I want more. The rebels are cool( I have a tweaker, love it) but, I'm talking high gain amp, in a small package.

So wouldn't you be more after a mini Armageddon? A small version of the Tourmaster would be tough. The power grid would be kind of pointless which is one of the main features of that model. I gotta go with the others here and say that Bruce did a good job of covering all of that ground with the Tweaker. You can get virtually any tone with that thing.

I have always wanted a smaller tourmaster and was willing to lighten it, with less options (that's what mesa did with this head) I'd love to have four channels in a mini head. I don't think it can be done but, if anyone could do it? it would be Bruce IMHO. I'm just talking on the forum, hope I'm not pissing anyone off.

No not at all dude. RigTalking is why we're here. Four channels in a lunchbox is a pretty tall order IMO. Perhaps if it were two channels with shared EQ's and boosts. I would personally love a Mod22. That would get you 4 channels of whatever you want.

Is it a Tourmaster if you do that? I think not. That monstrousness is why it is called Tourmaster!

;) :D

When I had a Tourmaster, the 100 watts was useful to me in terms of keeping it loud and clean- Headroom more than volume per se.

I liked the tourmaster at 50 watts the best, it had to many bottles for me-so I picked up a renegade-may get a tweaker 40 or a rebel 30 and sell the renegade though. I want something a little more raw sounding.

I felt the same way about my renegade ( I sold it) I do miss it some times. I have been using a tweaker 15 and loving it. My Marshall 2204 jcm 800 sounds cruncy and raw, very nice, if it had the renegades clean channel, it would be perfect, for me. I too, am thinking about a tweaker 40.

I used to run the gamut on the Tourmaster. Actually ran it at 10 watts frequently. The natural tube compression was nice clean or distorted. I am enjoying running the Renegade opposite from what you would think- 18 watts on the clean channel and 65 on the overdrive channel.

I run mine the same way, I use the second volume also

How about a gainier tweaker, like "Tweaker II" or something like that, you know with another preamp tube high gain oriented
