Helping my friend to sell this Mesa Triple Rectifier. It's too aggressive for him and he wants a smaller and lighter amp.
I modded this amp a few years ago and have made some upgrades to it now to make it more dynamic. Channel 1 is crispier and more open sounding and channel 2 and 3 are way more aggressive and tight. These amps have a layout problem from the factory which makes them noisy, I changed the layout in my mod and the result is a quieter amp with a reduced noise floor. The effects loop is changed to serial by a former owner.
Here is a clip I recorded five years ago which shows the sound before and after the modification.
Channel 3 has more bottom now after my recent upgrade.
