My MHG just never got the love it needed over the last couple years, sitting lonely on the shelf while other modules were my go-to modules. My ERECT covers my modern high gain and my EG3/4 nails down the Marshally high gains.
Since my MHG just never really did it for me; I had modified the MHG to EG5 specs.
The conversion to EG5 specs made the module sound great; but still not enough to place it as my primary high gain tone, so after a few shows, it went back on the shelf.
I've really been in need of a lower gain module and the SL appeared to be what was most recommended for my tone needs...so I converted the MHG/EG5 to SL specs.
This very well may be my favorite module now!
It's actually pretty much bumping my EG3/4 out of the slot for lower / mid gain tones...
Now, if I could just figure out the differences between the TWIN and the T/D to get my TWIN to give me more than just two clean channels.
I can now understand why there's so much love for the SL!
Now, if I can just sell my Triple Recto and pick up a few more modules that I'm missing, I'll be happy!
