MI Megalith Beta. I believe this is V2 and does have the sizzle switch mod. It will come loaded with Svetlana 6550Cs. Overall I'd say excellent condition. One little tolex scuff on the bottom. Footswitch included.
One of the most unique amps I've owned, an absolute raging beast with the biggest/deepest most controlled low end of any amp I've played. Has the largest transformers I've ever encountered and they relate to the power, efficiency, and behemoth sound this amp delivers. The voicing is extremely aggressive and the gain structure is gritty, raw, thick, meaty. Can be set relatively organic and dynamic if gain is kept low or take the gain up and it gets wonderfully saturated/compressed. High gain mode plugged straight in is tight AF and tracks really quick with great articulation/clarity but also takes boosts really well. One of the very few amps I can play straight in with no boost. Mid gain mode boosted is again, tight AF and very detailed but just another dimension all together. Low gain mode is dynamic and crunchy. The cleans are stellar.
Has 3 effects loops, 1/2 power switch, independent bias pot for each individual power tube, can run various power tubes. Around 700v on the plates but the screen voltage is about 410v so able to run EL34, KT77, 6550, KT88. Sounds great at low to moderate volume but wind it up and its a roller coaster ride that'll put a shit eatin grin on your mug guaranteed.
