I'm in need of a new MIDI foot controller as my Rocktron All-Access is starting to fail. It's long out of warranty. Considering the Rocktron replacement, the MIDI Raider, but I have read where some people are having issues with switches failing. I need the basic footprint of 15.5 x 10 and the other controller I'm considering in the Fractal MFC-101. I'm controlling an RG-16 and a number of MIDI rack effects. I know the MFC-101 has more features and it is the same price as an All Access if I were to find one new. I'm not having good feelings about the Rocktron piece given my experience.

So, how is the MFC-101?

Is it built well?

Do the buttons and display hold up?

Thanks in advance!

The MFC101 is built like a brick shit house and solid. Switches are silent and the alpha-numberics are large enough to actually see. I use one myself.

Another contender would be Bob Bradshaw's new controllers with alpha-numerics. They are built to order. If all else fails, I have an RS10 with the expander on the classifieds.... :D if you can get by without the alpha-numeric display.

wow, I've used an All Access for over a decade of heavy use with no issues. Saw a used one in the classifieds too. I have the new Bradshaw one as well. It is very nice as well.

Im a HUGE fan of the All Access. IMHO, its the best bang for the buck when it comes to Midi Controllers. The Midi Raider is a solid piece as well regardless of the new enclosure, its the same guts as the All Access.. Id stick with the All Access...
