I am a very happy owner of an Einstein combo and a G-major multieffect unit.
Can anyone recommend a midi foot controller (not the G-minor ..but perhaps the colombus) ?

Thanks in advance :)

Columbus works like a dream and built like a tank

I use a Engl Z12 (modified to be phantom powered by my VH4) which is really nice. Also built to last and not too large. Only thing I wish it had were leds above each switch to indicate which preset is selected.

Hi,

I use a Roland FC300. It´s a very versatile board with 2 exp-pedals and 2 control-switches. And it´s possible to connect some additional switches and pedals. It runs in normal, control, sysex and patch-mode. You can use the 2 switches of the G-Major (or the 2 Switches of the FC300) to control the Einstein. I´ve made a mod to control the 4 Einstein-modes with just 2 switches. If you´re interested, i will post a schematic.

Cheers

Thanks for the tips
I would very much like to see the setup for the Roland FC300 because it sounds like a good alternativ.
Our local Diezel reseller does not have the Colombus in stock ...

Hi,

try to get some information on roland´s website. Unfortunately, there´s no manual to download. And I just have a german one.

Cheers
