well i just got the new midi chip for my vh-4 and it didn't solve the problem the amp has. every time i turn the amp on to play and then switch a channel or touch any of the buttons on the amp everything lights up and stays on or it will light up and then go out and the amp will work but it does not accept midi programs such as programing to a ground control pro midi foot controller. every time i turn the amp on to play it does this. i just bought it new about 2 and a half weeks ago. i had the same problem with another vh-4 that i had about a year ago and Uwe sent my dealer a new midi chip and after that the amp was perfect. i have a big gig coming up in the first week of March and i really need this amp working properly since it's my only amp at the moment. anyone know what to do.
