Midi question

So I'm now trying to get my Herbert all set up with my midi controller. I have a Bradshaw RS10 controller. I've read both the manuals for the Herbert and the RS10 and am still not having any luck getting the controller to do anything. I'm trying to use the program method stated in the Herbert manual of selecting the channel then pressing the store button twice, but no luck. Anybody running a similar setup with any tips? Thanks!
 
I guess I should add that I'm also going to be sending program changes to a TC Electronics G Force so from what I understand, I'd need to manually set the Herbie to accept changes from a midi channel that would not clash with the G Force's receiving channel? So then I guess my next question would be if that's the case, how do I know which of the Herbie's 128 presets to program the RS-10 to recall? :confused:
 
Hey there. I too have a Herbie and RS-10 with G-major (different but similar to set-up), so I think I can get you squared away. Unfortunately, the process is easier for me to describe over the phone than it would be to type it. Can you call me if I PM you my number?

I think I can get you going fairly easily.
