Dave - Which Midi switcher would you think best for switching a Triaxis and an Eventide Eclipse? I am looking for something with alpha-numeric on it. There is always the Ground Controller but I like some click when I go for a patch and the text is a little hard to see. Was thinking of trying a Rocktron All Access or Axess FX-1. Leaning toward the Rocktron though. Think I will leave a couple pedals on the pedal board and not fool with a loop device in the rack.

Thanks,
Steve

This should be easy to get since you are overseas. Big numeric, big buttons!

I have P.m'd him asking this same question except looking to use what he might have to offer ..

Except he never returned my message...

I have a triaxis that I use with a rocktron all access and never had any issues worked fine. the Rocktron will be overkill for most people it can really do allot. its also built like a tank. As Steve_K pointed out the Axess FX-1 with the expander will give you more options in the number of direct access switches available but very very sad to say it looks like those will only be available on the used market now. Skrydstrup seem a bit on the expensive side but can do about the same as as axess

edit: the Skrydstrup and the axxess also have nice little preset editors the rocktron doesn't and I doubt ever will although a long time ago I asked about that and they said that they were going to have one that never seemed to have happened.

I used a Lexicon R-1 for my Eclipse and found I could program in almost everything -- I sold the Eclipse and want to sell the R-1 .... fwiw

I have an All Access that controls the Eventide, TC Stuff and Axe FX stuff very well. Does pretty much everything. I had a Liquid Foot and it was nice, prefer the All Access.

Ended up with one of the anniversary All Access controllers in black. Has the expression pedal plate with it. Pretty cool, easy to program and above all, I can read the damn thing on a dark stage! The alpha-numeric capabilities and the display size makes it worth it. I also am liking RJM's controller as it is pretty compact and easy to program. But, just numbers. So, its out with the glow tape with it for me.
