Yup, that's why we had rule 15.

In the end I withdrew the rule 'cause the noise and passion against it was greater than that for it, even 'though the majority seemed to approve.

Now we have the option to prepend a sale-status tag and basically 100% of ads use it, meaning that peeps seem to like the idea.

The difference now is that the 2nd aspect of rule 15 isn't in-effect ('cause it's gone - duh) - the requirement to name the item/s in the title. My reasoning at the time was precisely to avoid this situation, where you're curious as to what was sold.

Yes I can, but this only applies to the post, not the title.

Back when I was enforcing rule 15 I had to look at the OP history in order to figure out what items actually were and "fix" the titles. I did this around 500 times, leaving a [mod edit] note in the OP.

Half the time the items weren't named in said OPs' histories, in which case I'd search for pics that seemed to match up and base the new titles on that, leaving an additional request in the OP to inform me if I've got it wrong. It was a lot of work and the new tag system saves me on average maybe 45min a day.

OK, so I checked the history and indeed in this case the item's there. Seeing as it's no longer a requirement to keep the item description 'though, I won't take the liberty of naming it sans the OP's permission.

All I'll say is that it was a nicely-featured geetar. :dunno:
