Mixer for guitar effects

I have some effects pedals that I want to blend together in parallel- basically there will be four feed input signals, and two (Left & Right) output signals. The output will feed a stereo poweramp.

I know I can do this with my mixing desk, but is there a guitar-dedicated mixing device for this?

Or is there a small 4 channel input mixing desk, that has a stereo output and panning controls? I want to be able to blend two inputs as a pair, for each output signal.

The only "four channel" mixers I see only realistically have two input channels with full controls.

I apologise if this seems confusing...

Usually used for effects processors and not pedals, though. Not sure how well it would work in your situation.

Thanks for that. I will check it out.

Just this minute I'm reading up on the Rane SM26. It looks like it might be ideal, as it has the panning controls that I need.
I recall that Steve Lukather used one in the past. Anyone here use them?

I know I can definitely do what I want with my 8 channel mixing desk (Alesis MultiMix8), but I'd prefer to use something more compact.

Zachman has used the Rane in the past. I'm sure others have as well. It's a good piece of gear if you have the space.

It looks pretty good, in fact ideal except for the size. Even 1U size is a bit big for me.

I've also come across a smaller box by Nobels Electronics. It looks perfect, but I can't find any Australian dealers that sell it. Proguitarshop is the only US shop, but they don't list the mixer unit. If I get it I might have to order it from Germany.

expensive But I have thought of the Toft audio for this for clients
