Hey guys, we were trying to do some overdubs the other day with my drummer's Traynor head and found out something hilarious...

He hadn't used the head in a while, it had been sitting around in the garage where we jam/record, and I was curious how it would sit in the mix with my VH4, whether it might add a little something. So we plug it in, and it sounds awful. I say "wow, that thing sounds like sh*t. I think you should take in into the shop to get checked out."

We take the head to our usual repair place, and drop it off. A week later, I get a phone call telling me to come pick up the head. When we go to pick it up, Tom looks at us and starts laughing.

"You know why the amp sounded so bad?"

"No, why? All the tubes shot?"

"No.....well a couple, those are fixed...but a mouse made a nest in the head, and there was mouse sh*t all over the insides."

I almost pee my pants laughing. I had no idea when I said "It sounds like sh*t," that was quite literally the problem
