Mod 100 cut out

In my last set last night, my mod 100 cut out then came back a few seconds later. My clean module lost half its volume. I have 2 6l6's and 2 el34's. I noticed that the el34s were blue. They are Tung Sol 34's. Just wondering if they glow yellow or blue. Could I need new pre amp tubes in my clean module? Thanks.

Have you tried new tubes at all?

I'm going to replace the el34s tonight. I have never touched the pre tubes.

I would definitely try the power tubes first and them slowly work the pre amp tubes if the power tubes don't fix it.

Sounds like a power tube problem...

I replaced all four power tubes, 2 Tung sol el34s and 2 tung sol 5881s and the amp came back to life. I'm suprised the tube fail light didn't light up.
