Yes the MOD 100 head takes 3 dual modules and comes with a 6 button footswitch. This is basically a new amp (less that 30 hours of play time on it) and from what I have read here they are not making this chassis any more. PM me for pics.

Just curious why did this model get discontinued in favor of the mod 50?

and is there any major difference in sound from the power section? I usually prefer 100 watters anyway, but just curious.
 
I can't speak for the reason why it is being discontinued -though I seem to remember that it is mainly because of the extra labor expense and parts - however - having owned both the Mod50 head and then selling that to richeddie on this forum when I bought the MOD100 from Egnater - I can tell you that the MOD100 is definitely the most user tweak-able amp on the planet and i am in no rush to see it go. You can mix power tubes - running 2 separate matched pairs- or you can just use a single pair of matched power tubes to cut the wattage in half by pulling out the fuses of the tubes you don't want to use. This ability to mix and match dual sets of tubes is amazing and adds to the flavor of this amp. It is solidly built and just kicks ass. The extra headroom is a plus over the 50 watter as well.

My ONLY reason for thinking of selling is that I play 2- 3 times a week every week - and I can not fit this half stack in my truck with all the other PA gear and band stuff I have to carry. As a result I have just stopped playing the MOD100 in lieu of a combo amp for ease of use and loading and set up time.
 
I hear ya, stacks get hard to transport, which is why I am going the 2x12 route over my 4x12, just barely fits in my car..
