Do you guys at Egnator make a power amp ? I am thinking about a M4. What do you think sounds best with it ? At this time I would use the power amp of my Mark IV or Sig - X (a lot like half of a VHT 2/90/2) as they both work well for this kind of thing. Looping out / switching the amp preamp and the M4 with a GCX. Thanx

At this time we do not. We have all of them in the shop. Randall and VHT. I prefer the Randall for the tube switching.

Are you guys going to do a tube switching poweramp? If you could put any tube in there that would be very cool ?

I have played a Mod 50/100 a few times - great sound to my ears.

An Egnater Power Amp has GOT to be in the works at some point. With all the awesome things Bruce is doing with variable power sections, plus options like tube switching and stereo operation, Hoo man!

Seriously, the power section of the seminar amp sounds ridiculously great with any tube I've tried.

Just put a pair of those power sections in a box, and call it a day.

I'd like something like that, 100 watt power section I'm sure it'd sound huge.

On Ty's Rig...What is the XV module and is it likely that and the Grit "Gretchen" will be available soon? Also i see some people have a Dlx dual channel and a TV dual channel, are these still around in the shop and available. And what does the TV tone sound like since it seems to be a cross between twin and vox? thanks

XV is a modified EG5 and Gret is a modified COD. After Ty gets back from the European tour we will be discussing if they will be coming out.

Whats the differences tonally?

Thanks Jeff. What was done to the EG5? I really haven't fell in love with that mod yet.

I think I remember Jeff saying awhile back that the XV is an EG5 with a little less gain and brightness.
