Mod 50 effects loop

So, I'm thinking of going a slightly different direction w/ my Mod50 rig. I really enjoy using the Mod50 w/ the MPXG2, but after getting a taste of what delays, verbs, choruses, etc. sound like in my bigger rig w/ a parallel effects loop, I am thinking I want to do the same w/ the Mod50.

But, I have a question about the signal path of the 2 effect loops in the Mod50.

What I want to do is this:

Guitar -> input of the MPXG2 -> MPXG2 pedal effects -> MPXG2 preamp send -> Input of the Mod50 -> Mod50 preamp -> Mod50 Preamp series effects loop send -> MPXG2 preamp return -> MPXG2 series effects (noise gate, tremelo, etc) -> MPXG2 main out -> Mod50 series effects loop return

Here's the question. Does the Mod50 series effects loop return drive the send of the parallel effects loop? (I am having issues w/ the Mod50, so I'm unable to test this out, but am thinking about theoreticals at this point ;)). Why I want that, is that I use the noise gate in the MPXG2, and don't want a "non-gated" signal being sent to the parallel effects loop. I'm assuming that this is the way it works and the way the series / parallel effects loop works...that the series return drives the parallel's send.

If not...then what I want to do..well won't work like I hope. If it does, then I'm gonna either get a Lexicon MPX1 or a TC Gmajor 2 to put in the parallel loop for delays / verbs, etc.

FWIW, I think it may Eric. My Mod 50 has the Reverb option (parallel loop) and at times I've run a delay in the series loop and used the reverb in the head. From the way it sounds to me, the serial loop output is feeding the parallel loop. Otherwise the delay would sound like crap going thru the reverb first.

I could be wrong. Hopefully Jeff or Bruce will chime in.

Mine has the reverb option too, and I am thinking it work this way too, but I'm not entirely sure! I hope so...cause if it does...I'll be in heaven ;)

Is there any way you or someone else could check on this? I really would like to know.

Thanks,
Eric

the series loop is before the parallel loop.

i run a decimator iin my series and a timefactor in the parallel. works like a charm.
