Mod 50 - Module Questions - More gain from SL2 or Sl2x?

Hey Guys-

I'd like to get more gain out of my SL2. Can the module be modified by Egnater for this?

Or would this basically be an SL2X? Can anyone tell me where I can find some clips of the Sl2x? I'm definitely interested in this module. But, not sure I want "tighter" bottom end. Besides the SL2, I love the bottom end of my Budda SD, which I would describe as "loose."

Doubt the SL2(x) desgin can get much more gain out of it and still be stable / retain the tone it has. I couldn't see needing more gain though IMHO. If you want more gain, get the EG5 :)

:thumbsup: I don't use all the gain as is and it's a shit load :lol: :LOL:
 
I've been planning on doing a video of the SL2X but we've had some family issues to take care of (hospital). I hope to have something in the next few days. The SL2X has tons of gain. As mentioned, the gain on the SL2X is more usable than the stock SL2 so in effect it has more. I couldn't imagine needing more for what it does. Maybe you might consider something with a different voicing such as EG5.
