The best clean would be maybe T/D but right now the Bman is taking on a very new meaning of clean in the Mod 100 something fierce, you guys feel free to stop me rambling about that, that Mod100!!As for the 4th channel on the 4100,I haven't got that far on one yet

I would think probably EG5. Best clean either depends if you want it warm or shimmery. If warm, BMan. If shimmery, TD.

Yeah, if you need crystal clean and lots of headroom (no/little breakup even at high volumes), the TD is the way to go. If you want a bit warmer sound, potential for a little more grit, and some good tube breakup at high volumes, BMAN is the way to go. I have both and neither is going anywhere. They both rock.

The TD, to me, doens't make me go "wow" or anything...but it's the basic foundation for my clean tone, since I usually start out with a very pristine clean tone and go from there. A channel does the job quite well. The B channel is a great cruch tone (as the Deluxe was, of course).

The BMAN makes me go "wow". It has a great "smoky" tone (if you dial it in that way) that kind of hits you in the upper-mid chest. Just that right frequency to get your chest and ribcage vibrating. A very cool module, and the B channel is freaking awesome. Great blues lead tone, and can go from gritty to dirty to smoky to singing, and responds great to volume knob control.

I wouldn't use BMAN as my only clean. The TD I could.
