Who is using this combo?

4 Cable or just using the GSP in the loop? Which loop?

I tried it... it was too noisy for me - so it went away on ebay. I bought it specifically to use the 4 cable method. I ended up with a Line6 M13 - it's good for the $$$, but there are better multi-effects out there (I had to use an Ebtech line level shifter to deal with the line level loop). I usually use 4 cable in the series loop, but in the end I placed the M13 in the parallel loop and it works well for me... hope this helps... good luck.

Thanks. I've tried to M13 it's a really nice unit.

I need something that isn't on the floor since I already have a LiquidFoot that controls my guitar and the bands lighting rig.

Ned, if it's too noisy with higher gain mods, pickup a Ebtech Hum Eliminator for it. That takes care of the impedance noise problem. I use the GSP1101 doing a 4CM in my serial loop with the Ebtech between the amp input and the GSP1101's loop send. :m17:

do you mean hum eliminator or line level shifter?

The Hum Eliminator by Ebtech.

I thought that took care of noise problems because of ground loops, and the line level shifter was the one that would change impedance/signal strength to reduce noise associated with overdriving a circuit (it also has the hum eliminator within it as well).

Hey Ned! Ain't seen ya in a while, doin' well?

I bought the Digitech 1101 shortly after looking at it at Austin NAMM Show. Honestly I didn't like it. I thought that it changed the original tone way too much. I didn't even get to the point of trying the pre effects (overdrives etc) because if it couldn't do the timebased stuff in the loop, what's the point. Didn't make it pass the "no harm" test, so I sent it back to Sweetwater for credit.

I've actually been only using the GSP with my Rocktron Rack Interface but now that we have the lights and PA setup down it's time to get more guitar rig. That and I just need to hear an amp again.

Thinking about trying a G-Major as well, those dual delays could be kind of fun.
